Vista FIX: failed to format the selected partition. [Error: 0x80004005] on 4.6.2008 - Okay, so I didn't come up with this fix myself. I found it online after about an hour of tedious searching. If I can save anyone the trouble then I'd love to do so. I was running OpenSuse 10.2 and my mother refuses to use Linux so after one of our computers died out I needed to change an old Linux box back to windows for her.
